What is the term for a health care district board seat? Health Care District Board seats are for four-year terms and are elected in even years.

Why do I have to live in a certain Zone? To ensure representation throughout the area, the Del Puerto District Board of Directors adopted election zones. In support of the California Voting Rights Act, zoned elections allow residents to choose a fellow citizen to be on the DPHCD Board of Directors.

    What experience do I need to serve as a Director? Hospital/Health Care District Director: The elective officers of a local health care district shall be a board of health care directors consisting of five members, each of whom shall be a registered voter residing in the specific election district. Health & Safety Code 32100

    What Seats are Vacant? The following election zones in the Del Puerto Health Care District have one Board of Director seat available for appointment to a two-year term:
