SEATS AVAILABLE ON HEALTH CARE DISTRICT BOARD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL QUALIFIED PERSONS (see qualifications below) that on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, a general district election will be held in the County of Stanislaus, State of California, to elect members to the governing board of Del Puerto Health Care District. 

The following seats are open for election:

Director Zone 1                                                One seat elected until December 2028

​Director Zone 2                                                One seat elected until December 2028​

Director Zone 3                                                One seat elected until December 2026

Director Zone 4                                                One seat elected until December 2026

 QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE

Hospital/Health Care District Director: The elective officers of a local health care district shall be a board of health care directors consisting of five members, each of whom shall be a registered voter residing in the specific election district. To qualify for a seat, you must be a resident of a Del Puerto Health Care District Zone (see map above).

Declaration of Candidacy forms will be available and must be filed between Monday, July 15, 2024, and 5:00 pm Friday, August 9, 2024, at the office of the Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters, located at 1021 “I” Street, Suite 101, Modesto, California.

Notice is further given that an appointment to each elective office will be made if there are no nominees or an insufficient number of nominees for such office and a petition for an election is not filed within the time period prescribed by law. (Appointments will be made pursuant to 10515 of the Elections Code or 5326, 5328, and 5328.5 of the Education Code.)

Notice is further given that polls will be open on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
